The WMB is an ongoing process. Clients begin by addressing over 60 specific issues in six personal wealth management categories in order to create their personal Wealth Management Benchmark, an easy-to-read scale that lets them measure their progress against the goals they've set for themselves. The client decides what matters most and which areas, if any, require immediate assistance. Then, with the WMB action plan in hand, client and advisor work together to tackle those issues, determine an optimum schedule for reviewing and evaluating progress, and establish the best ways to continue fine-tuning an individualized personal wealth management strategy.
People often worry that they've left something undone. Maybe their wills aren't up to date or their insurance program doesn't meet today's needs. The world is unpredictableemergencies arise, markets go down, accidents happen. With the WMB, it's unlikely that anything will occur that hasn't been addressed. The WMB provides the peace of mind that comes from knowing all aspects of wealth management have been considered.
