Kimberly J. Custer, CRPC Managing Director Portfolio Management & Client Relations Kimberly J. Custer is responsible for portfolio management operations at Canterbury Investment Management. An experienced and insightful market technician, she also reviews and coordinates technical and quantitative investment research. She uses her expertise in investment strategy, security analysis, asset allocation, cash and tax management and trust and estate planning to help customize Canterbury's services to meet our individual client’s needs. Kim has over 12 years of investment experience and is Canterbury’s primary client contact manager. Originally from Wabash, Indiana, Kim earned a bachelor's degree in financial counseling and planning from Purdue University. After graduation, she began her career in the financial services industry with a New York Stock Exchange firm. Kim joined Smith Barney’s Portfolio Management Group where she worked directly with the Senior Portfolio Management Director. Kim was a co-founder of Canterbury Investment Management with our Chief Investment Officer, Tom Hardin. She has appeared as a guest lecturer at Purdue University's School of Consumer Science, where she discussed The Future of the Personal Wealth Management Industry. Kim is certified as a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor, a designation she earned through the College for Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado. Kim has completed all of the prerequisites for the Certified Financial Planner designation. She also has completed the two-year certified client-centered advisor program through American Business Visions in Santa Ana, Calif. Kim is an affiliate member of the Market Technician's Association and is pursuing her Chartered Market Technician (CMT) designation through the organization. |
